We began offering insurance in Yoakum Texas in 1976. A few years later in 1989 our founders Carroll Carter and Ruth Carter formed Carter’s Insurance Agency, Inc. in downtown Yoakum. Today you can still find our corporate office on Lott Street, still proudly serving the communities of Dewitt and Lavaca county.
In 1983 Carter’s Insurance branched into Austin Texas. Eddie Carter, co-owner opened a branch office in north Austin and offered Hochheim to the residents of Travis county, Williamson county, and Hayes, county effectively the greater Austin Metro. Today we have many happy customers in Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander, Manor, Pflugerville, Hutto, Taylor, Austin and all the way down to Buda and Kyle Texas.
In 2004, Carter’s Insurance Agency established an office in Victoria Texas. Today we are one of the premiere agencies in the golden crescent area.
