New Beginnings

Chris Wilson joined our agency working for us at our Austin Texas branch.  In May of 2005 he started working at 2009 Ranch Road 620 North, Lakeway Texas.    It is there in Lakeway, he began his career with us taking care of the many customers we have in the Austin metropolitan area. 

In July 2004 Carter’s Insurance agency expanded to Victoria Texas and bought Hoffman Insurance.  Chris Wilson came to Yoakum and worked in our Victoria Texas location for a short period of time before going back to the Austin metro where he worked at our office located 10200 Hwy 290 W, Austin Texas 78736. Chris bought a house in Buda, Texas and worked in our south Austin location for several years before finally settling into a position at our corporate office in Yoakum, Texas.  

Chris’s tenure with Carter’s Insurance agency has been an amazing one.  When Hurricane Harvey hit our clients in south Texas around the Victoria area, Chris was there to help out answering the many calls that came into our office, and to assist clients in crisis.  When we were left shorthanded in our Yoakum office, Chris worked harder to help us take care of our insureds, creating a seamless customer service experience. Over the years, Chris has been invaluable to our agency and has been a family friend and colleague.

We are going to miss working on a day-to-day basis with Chris Wilson.  We are fortunate he is taking a position with our largest insurance carrier, Hochheim Prairie in the position of underwriting.  It looks like we will be able to continue to work with him over the years in a new and exciting capacity on a different level.
